Bowen Therapy Ayrshire
I'm Kirsty. I’m a busy mum of 3 who originally began teaching fitness classes in my 20’s.
From there I moved into Personal Training, then Sports and Swedish Massage before qualifying as a Pilates Instructor.
This unique combination gave me a deep insight into the human body, and how it functions, from various different perspectives.
My journey with Bowen Therapy started when I attended an appointment with a friend who had chronic back pain and I decided to give it a go too.
I came out and promptly fell asleep for 2 hours! I was astonished and intrigued by what the therapy had done. I went on to use Bowen a couple of more times following a slight pelvic imbalance and I always left feeling significantly better.
Being a fitness instructor my body has been through its fair share of aches, pains and strains over the years and Bowen has always helped release and rebalance me.
So, in 2016, I decided to formally add this skill to my repertoire and train to be a Bowen Therapist.
I’ve found it very rewarding being able to make a real difference to people. The easing of pain and discomfort is very powerful and the effectiveness of the treatment never ceases to amaze me.
